How does Cooriroo optimise a route?
The agent orders the stops of a trip on the real road network with live traffic, shows you the new route beside the current one with the saving, and recalculates when the day changes.
What the agent does
Orders the stops
Waypoint optimisation with traffic-aware arrival times, and a distance-based fallback when live traffic is unavailable.
Shows the saving first
The optimised route is previewed against the current one, in kilometres and minutes. You apply it or keep yours.
Recalculates during the day
When a stop is added, removed or reordered, the route and the arrival times are recalculated. An extra stop mid-trip is fitted into the sequence.
Respects the promises
Time windows, service instructions and required proofs stay attached to each stop when the order changes.
One request, start to finish
Example session. Names and numbers are illustrative; the tool calls are the platform's real tools.
What a person still decides
- Whether to apply. A preview changes nothing. The route changes when you say so.
- Fixed stops. You can pin a stop to the start or the end, and the agent optimises around it.
- Trade-offs. Shortest and fastest are not always the same; you see both numbers.
What it does not do
- It does not track for your customers. Operations get live arrival times. There is no public tracking link for recipients.
- It does not claim a percentage. The saving is shown per trip, measured, before you accept it.
Questions people ask
Which routing engine is used?
Google Maps routing with live traffic, with a straight-line distance fallback. The level of optimisation depends on the plan.
Does it handle changes during the trip?
Yes. Adding, removing or reordering a stop triggers a recalculation, and the driver's app follows.
Where does the city graph come in?
